Bayards Cove Inn is taking bookings for Christmas dinners

Soak up the festive atmosphere, enjoy fabulous decorations and add a little magic to your celebrations at Bayards Cove Inn at Dartmouth this year with a delicious Christmas meal.

Treat yourself to a three course set menu, for just £30 per person or tuck in to two courses for £25 per person, available on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout December with crackers, tea and coffee included.

The menu oozes taste and flavour with a quartet of starters to choose from - Bayards soup of the day, smoked haddock fishcake, bruleed chicken liver parfait or a vegan and gluten free option of wild mushroom arancini.

For mains pick a stuffed local turkey ballotine, with roasted veg, potatoes, pigs in blankets, stuffing and gravy; confit duck leg, slowed cooked with red cabbage and a plum and apricot sauce; grilled skate wing served with caper butter, roasted new potatoes and seasonal veg or roasted butternut squash and goats cheese cannelloni with a vegan option available.

 For dessert there’s traditional Christmas pudding, gluten free chocolate brownie, classic sticky toffee pudding or affogato, with Dartmouth ice cream and locally roasted espresso coffee.
