Cafe Alf Resco celebrates the joy of marmalade this March
Celebrate the joy of Marmalade with complimentary toast and tastings at Cafe Alf Resco every Tuesday and Wednesday throughout March!
Cafe Alf Resco, will be celebrating the joy of Marmalade throughout the whole of March, with an array of orange themed treats. They also have high hopes of adding to their award winning marmalade collection at this years’ International Marmalade awards which takes place on 17th March.
Last year Kate Ryder, Owner at Cafe Alf Resco celebrated at the International Marmalade Awards with a prestigious Double Gold for her Dartmouth inspired Dark & Stormy marmalade. Silvers were also won for her Spanish Love and Devon Heaven entries.
Pop into Cafe Alf Resco and sample lots of marvellous homemade marmalades for yourself with our complimentary toast & tastings offer this March. This year’s varieties, available to try during March, include Dartmouth Plum & Seville; Whiskey & Walnut; Wake Up Three Citrus; Blood Orange & Vanilla and of course last year’s winner Dark & Stormy.
The International Marmalade Awards promote small scale marmalade makers using the open-pan method. Judged by an esteemed panel, these prestigious Awards put marmalade makers on the map, and winners can display their ‘Gold’ ‘Silver’ or ‘Bronze’ Award roundel on their jars.
Founded in 2005, the Dalemain Marmalade Awards & Festival have raised over £200,000 for Hospice at Home.
