Our chefs are always busy crafting new Menus, and we’ll source our produce locally wherever possible. Your grumbling appetites will be spoilt for choice when you arrive at Cofton Holidays with our award-winning dining facilities: Amelia’s Panty, The Warren Retreat and the Swan Pub!

Whether you pop to Amelia’s Café for breakfast, lunch or dinner you’re in for a delightful treat. Our hearty breakfasts are worth getting out of bed early for; don’t worry you can order your full English up until 12pm if you fancy a lie-in! Freshly made sandwiches accompanied with chunky chips, crispy baked jacket potatoes filled to the brim and traditional fish and chips… why not sit outside with your lunch and relax on our terrace looking out on Cofton Valley? Even better, choose a slice of our scrumptious home-made cake along with your cup of coffee, made by our expert baristas.

When it’s time to wind down with your loved ones and enjoy a luscious home-cooked meal look no further than Amelia’s Pantry. From grills, to signature dishes and lighter meals there’s something for everyone! Juicy burgers, served with tender belly pork, Jail Ale chutney, and stilton… Is your mouth-watering as well? If you fancy a different atmosphere, head down to the Warren Retreat we’re you’ll find a similar menu with a few surprises…

The Cofton Sunday Carvery in the Warren Retreat has been a favourite pastime of the locals for many years, and once you've tried it, you'll realise why! When it comes to quality there's no compromise and being in the heart of the lush Devonshire fields and farms means we're able to source fresh and local, tasty produce.

After you’ve had a morning splashing around in the outdoor pool, pull up a stool at the Swan Pub for a bite to eat and an ice-cold pint of Devon cider… bliss! From guest ales to thirst- quenching beverages, we try to stock our shelves with as many local products we can get our hands on. Not to mention very meal you order from the Swan Pub is served in fully compostable Vegware takeaway containers, which helps The Swan in its ‘Eco’ motto.

Opening Times: 

Amelia’s Pantry: Open all year around! Food is served from 8.30 – 20:00 in the winter and 8.30 - 21:30 in the summer.

Warren Retreat: Open nightly from Easter to the end of October. Open for carveries every Sunday between 12pm to 3pm, advance booking is advisable but not essential.

The Swan Pub: Open Daily from Midday during peak season and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the winter.

To reach Cofton by car, leave the M5 motorway at junction 30. Take the A379 sign-posted Dawlish and after about 30 minutes, having passed through Kenton, Starcross and the small harbour village of Cockwood, Cofton Holidays is half a mile on the left. The nearest bus stop is on the Exeter Road, approximately 100 yards from Reception. The stop is serviced by the number 2 Stagecoach service running from Exeter to Newton Abbot. The nearest train stations are Starcross, Dawlish Warren and Dawlish. From each of these you’ll be able to catch a bus which passes our entrance.
