Foxcombe Bakehouse scoops a Great Taste TWO STAR award for All Butter Choc Shortbread

Foxcombe Bakery is delighted to announce that their All Butter Chocolate Chip shortbread has won an 2 Gold Star Great Taste ‘outstanding’ award.

The beautifully handmade All Butter Chocolate Chip Shortbread is traditionally baked on the family farm in Devon using authentic British ingredients.

The delicious All Butter Chocolate Chip Shortbread is available in a variety of different size formats. Perfect for eating on the go, at work or at home with a cup of tea.

They’re proud to say that their delicious bakes are packaged in eco friendly packaging. Bags are made from a Natureflex compostable film which is certified both compostable and biodegradable. Any cardboard is fully recyclable and accredited with an FSC certification. They even use vegetable based inks for the print on the packaging.

Judges’ feedbackGood-looking biscuits filled with generous amounts of chocolate – very appetising. They have a lovely homemade feel and a delicious golden colour. The texture is moist but crumbly, with a good snap. The butteriness of the shortbread pairs well with the slightly bitter chocolate and the sugar crumble on top to make a dangerously moreish treat.
