Quench Your Thirst for Wine Knowledge with South West Wine School
Quench Your Thirst for Wine Knowledge and Embark on a Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Course
Mahatma Gandhi said ‘learn as if you were to live forever’ and what better subject to learn about than wine. Devon based South West Wine School is holding Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) courses at its headquarters just outside Kingsbridge and has a few spaces remaining on the highly regarded Level 3 course which starts on 29th May.
Co-founder of South West Wine School, Jonathan Reynolds says: “I have recently taken and passed my WSET Level 3. It provides such a comprehensive education on everything related to wine, from growing vines, winemaking and the different grape varieties to serving recommendations and food and wine pairings.” Jonathan continues: “With the hospitality industry booming in the South West these courses are vital for anyone working with wine and will hugely enhance the wine appreciation of everyone who attends.” The Wine & Spirit Education Trust provides globally recognised education and qualifications in wine and spirits for both professionals and enthusiasts.
The next course scheduled in the diary is a WSET Level 2 which will take place over three days on 8th, 15th and 22nd May with a second course scheduled for 20th and 27th June and 4th July 2019. The next Level 1 course is on Tuesday 4th June with another course on Tuesday 9th July. A Level 3 course is scheduled from 29th May for six consecutive Wednesdays and another course in the diary for September. Educators for South West Wine School include Hayley Reynolds DipWSET and Rebecca Mitchell DipWSET.
The venue for these courses is the South West Wine School’s headquarters, Wakeham Farm, between Modbury and Kingsbridge in South Devon. Keep an eye on the diary page of www.southwestwineschool.co.uk for further courses planned at both Wakeham Farm and other venues in the Southwest.
Sponsors of the South West Wine School include Salcombe Gin, Eversfield Organic, Vineyard Productions, Enotria & Coe, Kingston Estate, Deer Park Country House and The Eco Laundry. South West Wine School is a member of Food Drink Devon and Taste of the West.
