Teignworthy Brewery Ltd
The Maltings, Teign Road, Newton Abbot, Devon, TQ12 4AA
Teignworthy Brewery will be celebrating its 20th year with a special brew in June, still under the original ownership of John Lawton. It is based within the historic Tuckers Maltings building in Newton Abbot. Teignworthy brews a large range of ales between 3.8% to a mighty 13% ABV in cask or bottle supplied to pubs, farm shops, and off licenses.
Teignworthy believes in traditional values, by sourcing local ingredients from local businesses, which use less food miles. Malt from Tuckers, hops from our own supplier, water that bubbles up from Dartmoor and yeast from an old strain that they have had since they started.
There is a growing awareness of good locally produced food and drink and the subtleties and complexities of it. We all care much more about what we eat and drink and enjoy finding new and exiting ales too. Teignworthy Brewery will not disappoint you with their beautiful traditional Devon Ales. They have 6 Core cask ales on all the year round, many seasonal brews and some 11 bottled conditioned ales as well as their special Edwin Tucker range sold next door in Tuckers Beer shop.
They have an excellent choice of Polypins to take away 18pt, 36pt. Also 72 pt casks all with a no-settling option! (24hrs notice).
Combined with locally produced food their ales make a lovely tasty combination. Many local individual restaurants, cafes, public houses and clubs enjoy it, amongst weddings, dances and take-away for any party. Call at their Brewery door or give them a ring – Mine’s a Teignworthy – Cheers!
