The Tors

The Tors is located in an area of outstanding beauty, it’s directly on Dartmoor & over the grid. Wild ponies, sheep & cattle roam the working village, The River Taw runs through the bottom of the great green and on higher ground is some of the best hiking on Dartmoor. 

The pub is under new ownership and proud of their heritage, it fly's the flag for the wonderful food & drink our region has to offer.

The pub offers simple pub classics made with the best locally sourced ingredients they can get their hands on. The beer, ale, cider are all made in Devon by micro-breweries & serves local wines, spirits & coffee too. 

In the Summer months they run an outside kitchen “The Shed’ serving gourmet burgers, smoked, slow cooked meats and veggie options to an ‘infinity’ beer garden over looking the moor.

The Tors also offers bed & breakfast in rustic, charming rooms. 

The North of Dartmoor is wild, to a degree, so is the pub.
