Welcome to Fatbelly Fred's Fish and Seafood Restaurant. We pride ourselves on sourcing local and sustainable produce from across the North Devon coastline, and go to great efforts to make sure each dish is fresh and individually prepared to suit you.

With such an abundance of fine local produce available we serve food from breakfast till 10pm daily, cooking “low and slow” wherever possible in “Big Bertha”, our charcoal fired oven, for a unique taste and flavour.

Being located in the beautiful Devon countryside offers us a fantastic natural larder right here on our doorstep! From field to shore our menu features dishes that are unique to our kitchen & we've been listed in the Good Food Guide since 2011. In the small but very much alive town village of Croyde lies The Thatch. Only a few hundred metres from one of the top surfing destinations in the South West, it is a great setting to wind down after a morning on the waves. Recently celebrating 25 years of business, it has catered for many and strives to provide a great atmosphere to relax in.

Bawdens the Bakers At Lucy Lou's, Bampton, Devon. We produce a variety of artisan bread and cakes in our own bakery and we also have a cafe and retail shop.
