Sourcing locally is our passion and you can't get more local than from our own fruit and veg garden! Our Head Chef believes that creating fabulous tasting dishes can only come through using the finest ingredients. Our award winning restaurant is open every day with idyllic garden views.

In the small but very much alive town village of Croyde lies The Thatch. Only a few hundred metres from one of the top surfing destinations in the South West, it is a great setting to wind down after a morning on the waves. Recently celebrating 25 years of business, it has catered for many and strives to provide a great atmosphere to relax in.

We serve quality craft Beers and Ales and a fine array of Westcountry Ciders alongside good wholesome food. With such an abundance of fine local produce available we serve food from breakfast till 10pm daily, cooking “low and slow” wherever possible in “Big Bertha”, our charcoal fired oven, for a unique taste and flavour.
