Food Drink Devon Highlights of 2018

2018 has been another hugely successful year for Food Drink Devon and its members. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Fantastic media coverage created by FDD for our members across a wide range of print, digital and radio platforms including many national titles
  • Our social media and digital presence has continued to grow so that in 2018
    • On Twitter we had 33k followers and an average of 46k tweet impressions per month
    • On Facebook we grew to 900 followers
    • On Instagram we grew to 1300 followers
    • Our website received over 8k pages views a month
  • We distributed over 40,000 FDD Guides  throughout the year to
    • National and Local Journalists
    • Tourist Information Centres
    • Airport Lounges
    • Train Stations
    • Consumer Food Fairs
  • We established a working relationship for our members with Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Waitrose
  • We provided business mentoring for several members and ran business workshops on key industry topics
  • We represented our members at prominent national marketing events in London and Bristol and celebrated the 'Best of Devon' with our highly acclaimed annual FDD Awards
