Rosemoor offers various activities and facilities for families.
A delightful natural play area set in our pine woodland with living willow structures, sand pit, slide, bug magnifiers, stepping logs and climbing frames. Picnic benches and a wooden shelter are also available.
Inspired by our 2012 Quentin Blake exhibition, The Copse features a ‘Green Ship’ and has equipment suitable for slightly older children including a see-saw and spiro-giro. There are also stepping logs and living willow sculptures for younger children. A wooden shelter and picnic benches are available and the nearby arboretum lawn is a great place to run and picnic.
We are always developing interesting features for families to enjoy. The ‘Hobbit Hole’ and ‘Mr McGregor’s Shed’ are favourites and the flower pot man in the Fruit and Vegetable Garden delights visitors young and old. Various sculptures, children’s trails and craft activities throughout school holidays ensure there is always plenty to do.
